Is it that time again already? Heck yeah it is! Tomorrow is College Football Game Day. FSU is on the road again to Maryland where we’ll hopefully play some decent football. Miami plays North Carolina this weekend. I would hope for an upset here, but NC hasn’t beaten a ranked team all season. The biggest game to watch this weekend is Georgia VS Florida at the Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville. The Gators have won 13 of the last 14 meetings against Georgia with a current 7 game-winning streak. You can expect the Gators to want to give Zook one more victory here. Speaking of Zook, Spurrier says that he wants to talk to UF about a job (thanks to Noel for the link). Interesting…very interesting. As much as I would love to see him throw his hat and cry like a little girl, I would rather see him just settle down in a mountain cave. And just in case you were wondering, here are this season’s BSC Bowl schedule and Bowl projections. Unless someone over throws Miami or Auburn, it looks like we’re going to the ‘Who Gives a Flying Flip’ bowl.

And speaking of Saturday, CCF is having a Fall Harvest Hoe Down at 8:00 PM at our campus house. Yeeeee Haw!! We’re going to have a Chili and Pie contest and yours truly is a judge. To be honest, I’m a little scared of having to judge chili since I’m some what of a pansy when it comes to hot stuff. But I’ll come prepared with tums and lots of water. Maybe I should have said, “Ain’t Skeerd.” There will also be some line dancing and fun and games. Everyone is supposed to come dressed up as “country” but I think I’m going to come dressed up as “redneck.” Because where I’m from, those two words are interchangeable. Mom/Dad, you probably won’t claim me after this weekend. Hopefully I’ll be able to post all the pics on Monday…including the pumpkin carving ones.
