McGraw and Movies

I’m still in a state of shock from losing my baby. Probably even more so when I get the estimate for the repairs. Therefore, so it’s going to be a short posting today. I realize that some people in the viewing area are going to the Tim McGraw concert tonight at the Civic Center. If you aren’t going, Weekly Movie Night at my place is still on. Since it’s getting close to Thanksgiving, Finals, and Christmas Break, we’ll be watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, a true classic in my opinion. The show starts at 9:00 PM sharp, so be there or be square.

Also, I’ve posted a new poll today. I’m sure all the youngins will be scratching their heads over this one. And for clarifaction purposes, that’s the old school Starsky and Hutch 70′s TV show, not that pour excuse of a movie remake.

The moral of this story: Always read the fine print.

Reverse.

Its official, well sorta: Spurrier is a Gamecock. Let the puns begin.

I think you’re going to need something a little bigger.

Get ready to play some Counter Strike.

Stupid crimes never pay.

Two great quotes from todays random links:

First: The feedback from the winner of the ebay listing:
“No pic yet, maybe he’s waiting for the photo of the cheque to clear ? ;) SCAMMER”

    Second:
    From the Spurrier article:
“Holtz has said he believes Spurrier will be a good fit for the Gamecocks.”

Plus I think it is about time for a new Artie’cle.
    I’ll get right on that…

And for your own education, learn this word. It may be on the GRE or SAT or ACT or whatever.

Spurious: 1. Lacking authenticity or validity in essence or origin; not genuine; false.
    2. Of illegitimate birth.

isn’t it obvious that the Duke boys would win. whoever voted for Starsky and Hutch definitely ain’t from the south…and i mean the real south which excludes Florida (i’m sorry Lauren and Kinsey…i still love you guys.) who knows, it was probably Floridians that voted for Starsky and Hutch. Besides, i don’t think either one of those guys could shoot out someone’s tire while hanging out the side of a Dodge Charger (oh yeah…pure sweetness) using a bow and arrow with deadly precision. also, their theme song sucks! you need to have a real legend write and sing your theme song like the Dukes. a hot chick that accompanies you most everywhere helps, too.
