interesting story coming up….

so my sister and i were out the day after thanksgiving doing a little post-holiday shopping. she decides that she wants to get her nails done. so we pull into the wal-mart shopping center where the snappy nails place is. i’m assuming it’s a standard that oriental people own these nail places so i didn’t question the number of oriental people that were working there. (i’m generalizing them as oriental because i didn’t know if they were chinese or japanese…and i didn’t want to ask, although it probably would have been hilarious.) so i decide to wander over to wallies because, quiet honestly, i didn’t want to turn in my man card immediately. now let me regroup the situation. my sister, of the indiginous peoples of america, is in an oriental owned nail salon in a dominately anglo section of NC. what other way to scream “culture shock!!!” than for the radio dj to play “feliz navidad” over the airwaves. it was freakin’ hilarious.
