Geek Squad

So I was tooling about on the internet the other day when I saw an advert for the Geek Squad. At first I thought it was another long line of internet hoaxes and funnies. Apparently, as always, I was wrong. In ten words or less, Geek Squad is the 24 hour computer support task force. It appears that it’s a child company of Best Buy. My first impression of the Geek Squad: it was demeaning to nerdom. Just look at the way they dress the techs: White shirt, clip on black tie (that saves you from death by printers), black pants, black shoes, and white socks. Not to mention the fact they throw you into a “Geekmobile” (a geeked out white and black VW Beetle). The only thing missing was the pocket protector and the ability to repel women like my mullet. But then…I saw it. You get a badge. Oh boy! That badge changed my whole perception…I want one. Finally a hunk of metal that says, ” You will respect my geek authority!” Ah yes…I can feel the power trip now. Muhahahahahaha!

Your links today are reminiscent of a series of unfortunate television shows on Fox. When good monkeys go bad and attach cops doing good deeds while involved in car chases. Oh yeah.

If you don’t think you can progress all the way to Jones green bean casserole soda, you can take baby steps. Dr. Brown’s sodas offer Cel-Ray. You got it, celery flavored soda.

Also, see my late comment on yesterdays post.
