My Poor Brain

Oh the irony. I’m sitting here at work with my tail end dragging trying to figure out what to name this post. I glance over at my iPod and what song is playing? ‘My Poor Brain’ by the Foo Fighters. The rest…is history.
Monday again…the cycle continues. Back in the old days this particular Monday would have excited me. Why? Because this is the last week of school before Spring Break. In a typical college student style fashion, I would be counting down the days until party time. But alas…I am a working man. Woe is me. I’ll be slaving away while you kick back in the sun with a tasty beverage. Take some advice from a working man and enjoy it while you can. The next thing you know you’ll be looking at that tropical calendar from inside your cubical…mumbling about the squirrels that live outside your office building. So saith Joshua.
In other news, the good Senior has a rambling ready for ya’ll. He’s also updated his bio on the Rambling Home page. And I should mention that Artie left me an Artie’cle on my PC at home…but I haven’t been at home long enough to read it.
Finally, I’ve got my response to Catholic Chicha’s post. Let me just preface a few things before you read it. It’s a rather lengthy post. I was going to devote an entire day’s worth of posting for my response, but I didn’t want to swamp the entire home page. Secondly, these scriptures deal with some heavy biblical theologies. I’ve done a lot of research and tried to sum up as much as possible without losing the meaning. So if something isn’t clear, please let me know and I’ll further clarify. So here is my response, in Adobe Acrobat form. I welcome any and all comments.

Thanks Mom and Dad for coming down and spending the day with me yesterday. And a special thanks for Mom telling all my embarrassing stories.

Wait, one last thing. I’ve setup the site to automatically close the comments section on posts older than 21 days to cut down on spam posting.

Yes people. Enjoy your spring break while you still can. I, too, will be working under the fluorescent lights while you work on your tan. Have fun. Be safe.

Boys, I will miss you both during the break. Please don’t work too hard. I’ll bring you back a tee-shirt.
You guys should take off Wednesday and Thursday as well, and then we can go kick back on the shores of the beautiful (ha!) Lake Ella with some tasty beverages and watch all the ducks get eaten by giant carp.
If anyone has a version 2 or 3 (not slim) PS2 they want to sell me for under $100, let me know. I want one before the 9th so I can spend all day playing GT4!
