In Memoriam

If one could say there are two constants on this website, then they would be the following: 1) I love Fridays and 2) I hate Mondays. Typically, the first and last posts of the week are dedicated to that love-hate relationship. However, I think I’m going to do something a little different this week. The reason for this is partly due to the fact that I have Friday off from work for Good Friday. This is the first day I’ve had off since Jan 17. That means you more than likely will not get a post from me this Friday. Therefore, I don’t want to upset the yin-yang balance in that love-hate relationship. So I won’t be droning on about how Mondays suck today.
Instead, I would like to dedicate this post to the late, great John Delorean, who passed away this weekend. He was best known for the DeLorean DMC-12 which was the car featured in Back to the Future movies. John DeLorean was 80 years old. He was trying for 88, but his flux-capacitor just gave out. We’ll miss you man.
And in weekend news, check this out. I was greeting people between services at Crossbridge when this family walks in. So I stroll over and start talking to the family and introducing myself. I get to the last member of the family and I know I’ve seen this guy somewhere before. I stand there, think about it for awhile, and I finally say, “I know you from somewhere but I can’t remember where.” Then it hits me…the Winn-Dixie in Bainbridge. That’s where he works. As it turns out, the whole family is from Bainbridge and their daughter wanted to come down and check the place out. She’s 20, about to wrap up at Bainbridge College, and had graduated from Grace Christian School. As it turns out, we just about know all the same people since I went to Grace Church and I’m a BC Alumni. Yes, that was the world getting a little smaller.
Finally this week if you get a chance, stop by the Union (next to Moore Auditorium) at FSU. CCF and other campus ministries will be reading the Bible out loud from Monday at 5:00 PM to Thursday at 5:00 PM. That’s right…out loud…all day…all night. The bible study that Artie and I lead will be out there tonight at 6:00 PM. So if you get a chance, please stop by and check out Cover 2 Cover 2005!
Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah… Are you telling me you built a time machine… out of a DeLorean?
Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you’re gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
Truly useless facts.
Two’fer: NoName One and Two. Good luck with these.
Thieves are stupid.
Here is a list of firearms. Go ahead and collect the whole set.
“The officers may have saved the suspect’s life, but in doing so, they may have increased his possible time behind bars from 3 months in jail to 25 years in prison.”

I'm currently living in Tallahassee, FL where I am a graduate of the Computer Science program at FSU and a C# web developer for a local software company.
What? No post this Friday? I usually look forward to Fridays. This makes me sad.
