Mixed Emotions

It’s Thursday!!!!!!
With the Fourth of July just around the corner, I’m starting to get stoked for burninations and festive explosions. I can practically feel the burning sensations on the tips of my fingers (because I always get burned). Yeah, fire and me have this love/hate relationship. I love it and it burns me. Yet for some reason I keep coming back…like a woman on Lifetime.
Which brings me to the subject of today’s post: fireworks (not women). I was somewhat excited to be living in FL since fireworks are legal there. On the other hand, FL has sissy fireworks like sparkers and those black snake things. That roughly equated to a border run to AL to get the good stuff and then back to GA where they are illegal. Because I like to live by the “if you’re going to go, go all out” philosophy. But now all that’s changed. My world is in shambles. Why? GA recently make fireworks legal. Not only are they legal but they are just as pansified as the crap-works FL sells. Would someone please tell me where the fun is in that?
Personally I think it’s a sign of the end times. First Bainbridge gets a Wal-Mart and then GA gets to sell fireworks. What’s next, roadside Moonshine?
On second thought….
OSLD: Quit obeying your thirst and run!! On the other hand, that’s something handy to know.
Have a ball…a weasel ball.
That…is a big fish.

Hello fire department? Please come my grandmother out of a tree.

I'm currently living in Tallahassee, FL where I am a senior in the Computer Science program at FSU and a C# web developer for a local software company.
You mean that roadside moonshine is illegal? Ooops.
4th of July.
I think we need a grill, some meat, and tasty beverages (not purchased on the side of the road).
