I Got An Invite

Well for the third time in my legal life I’ve been summoned for jury duty. Not just any jury duty, but federal jury duty in Thomasville, GA. Thankfully I’ve been able to get out of it every time due to my college workload. Hopefully I can pull the same trick this time. The funky thing is that the summons was sent to my parent’s house. I haven’t lived there in four or so years. Go figure.
In other news, Kari and I finally made it to the movies to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If you are a fan of the original, I would recommend this one to you. I will caution you that while it is similar to the first one, it’s different in a lot of ways (thank you Tim Burton). Now I just need to figure out where to find some Umpa Lumpas.
One day closer to Friday…

Jury duty rules. The fed’s don’t care about college workloads.
I have never gotten chosen for jury duty and I want it! Oh well

They often do not care.
What does your driver’s license state as your address. I was under the impression that jury duty selection was driven by that address.
