Weekend Review

Seemingly overnight, the floodgates have been opened and students have poured back into town. Seriously, 2:00 PM traffic this past Saturday was worse than 5:00 PM traffic on any given Monday. And if you’re smart, stay the heck away from Target or Wal-Mart for the next week or so. I can’t stress that one enough peoples. To combat the stress of dealing with Tallahassee traffic, Artie and I rediscovered our childhood with Star Wars themed Lego sets. Quite possibly the best of both worlds. Talk about constructively using the force.
Despite the onslaught of freshmen and school starting next week, there is one bright ray of sunshine: Football. Yes, I scored my FSU Student Football tickets and I’m gearing up for this season. Our first game of the season is against Miami at Home on Monday, September 5. Both FSU and UM have new quarterbacks, so this should be interesting.
Tomorrow I’ll be heading back to the doctor to get an update on the ol’cast…and probably a new one as well.
Woo hoo.

I'm currently living in Tallahassee, FL where I am a graduate of the Computer Science program at FSU and a C# web developer for a local software company.
Ah yes. Coffee, toast, and star wars legos.
It is the best way to start a Saturday.
If you feel like making my boring 6 hours of standing a little more bearable at the UM game, feel free to drop by lot 5/6 and say hi. And by “say hi,” I mean “bring a sandwich.”
