Bonus and Not So Bonus

So the other day I go with Kari to pick up her new rental car (while her VW Bug is getting fixed). I guess I should first mention that she already had a rental, a POS Lancer, that she was unhappy with for the previous mentioned reason. Being a customer satisfaction orientated business, the rental company offered to hook her up with a Pontiac Vibe. Not too shabby.
As soon as we hop in the Vibe Kari says, “It smells like [insert something that smells funky here because I can't remember what she said since I'm getting old] in here.” I say, “It kinda smells like paintballs.” Just as we are about to pull out of the lot, Kari notices a CD in the visor. Its a burned CD entitled “Da boys in da hood 2005.” Score! Then Kari says, “Let’s see what else we can find in here!”
I dig around in the passenger area and find a rather new and nice lighter. Bonus!!! I pocket that jewel and continue on my hunt. Meanwhile, Kari is rootin’ under her seat as we drive down the road. “Hey…I think there’s a bottle under my seat!” A bottle? Hmmmm…this could be interesting. “I can’t get it! I’m going to push it out to the back floor board. Tell me what it is!”
Ahhhhh!!!! Out popped half a bottle of milk. Yes milk. I don’t know how long it had been there, but that would probably explain the smell.
No, I didn’t stick around long enough to check out the expiration date on the bottle. I can say that it wan’t chunky. But then again it was hot in the car.
I’m sure there’s a lesson to be learned somewhere in all that.

Liquid Sculpture is the process of creating shapes by dropping and splashing water, or other liquids. These sculptures are then photographed, since they last only a few thousandths of a second.

“Kari is rootin’ under her seat as we drive down the road.”
Yeah, don’t let the insurance company hear this. Probably not a good idea.
Boyz N Da Hood was blender approved
The mental image of Kari “rootin’” is priceless!
Instead of “rootin” I think I’d like to see Kari “noodling”, as in noodling for catfish.
I rather see…you know what? I’m just going to back away from this comments section very slowly.
I keed, I keed.
PS – The car still reeks.
