Score On Many Levels

I’m finally back peoples. I wish I could say that I was vacationing at my beach house on the Riviera or hunting foxes in jolly ol’ England…but that just isn’t the case. Instead, I’ve been battling the likes of Discrete Math, ignorant users, control freaks, and internet outages.
Life is grand.
But the good thing is that I’m slowly coming out on top. Bam player!
So since I’ve been lacking in the posting goodness department, I need to catch up on a few things. First and foremost, FSU is still undefeated. We squeezed some Oranges Saturday afternoon at the Doak and it was great. For what I believe is a first for me, I got to experience the new controversial call/instant replay deal. Twice as a matter of fact. More info on the replay thing here. That win slides FSU up to #4 in the AP Polls.
What’s even bigger news than that is the fact that Alabama stuck it to Florida…31-3 to be exact. Two undefeated teams went head-to-head and the Tide came out on top…way on top. Urban Renewal? Ha! And it didn’t take long for the “fire the Gator head coach” website to pop up. You just can’t keep those Gators happy. However, I’m happy because I got a chance to sport my Bama hat and FSU shirt on the same day.
Roll Tide!!
Well, that’s about it for today. I’ve been mulling over a new idea for the website, so check back tomorrow for some info on that and possibly an associated poll (because your opinion counts). I will leave you with this: Yesterday as I was driving home, I watched this cat dart out in front of a huge redneck truck. Truck 1 Cat 0.
It made me smile.
OSLD: Yummy!! These are just in time for halloween!

I'm currently living in Tallahassee, FL where I am a graduate of the Computer Science program at FSU and a C# web developer for a local software company.
I hate that FSU keeps winning. I mean, I love that we’re undefeated, but if we keep winning (and therefore moving up in the polls), it’s going to make people think we’re actually a good team, which we’re not.
Bashing Gators and cats in the same post…don’t know why I should expect more from you.
