Minor Change of Plans

Well I had wanted to talk about how “charmed” I am now, but I didn’t have enough time to produce a harass-less post last night. So I’ll save that for tomorrow’s post…hopefully. However, I’ve got a backup post ready to go. ‘Cause I’m good like that.
Yesterday I was finally able to register for classes next semester. I had been playing phone tag with my advisor for the past few days. Right now I’m registered for Discrete Mathematics II and Computer Organization (Programming). Yes, I’m going to subject myself to another semester of Discrete Math. I could have waited until Spring 2007 to take it, but that wasn’t going to happen. I want to go ahead and get that beast out of the way. And another good thing is that the Computer Org class isn’t the uber hard programming class I thought I was going to have to take.
Nope, I’ll be saving that programming beast for a later date.
Another cool thing is that after the Spring I’ll have one more 3000 level class and then the rest will be all 4000 level classes. I’m finally getting somewhere!!
In other news, I signed up for this new feature from Bank of America. They call it Keep the Change. Basically, this is how it works: Every time I buy something with my debit card, they’ll round up your purchase to the nearest dollar amount and transfer the difference from my checking to savings account (free of charge). So if I spend $3.43 on something, my checking account gets debited for $4.00 and my saving account gets credited the $0.57. It may not sound like much, but BofA will match the Keep the Change amount for the first three months and 5% on a yearly basis.
Every little bit helps right?
I like that because that’s one of the two main reasons why I don’t carry cash. I don’t like change weighing down my pockets. Plus it usually ends up in my car seats or on top of my dresser. The other reason is that having cash on hand burns a hole in my pocket. Not cool.
Pardon the pun…but I’m spent. See you tomorrow peoples.
Some people take fingernail painting a little too far.
Not really sure what’s going on with this game.
World’s worst carjackers have which of the following qualities: A) Can’t find reverse B) Can’t open the garage door C) Ask victim for directions D) All of the above.
Really really cool optical illusion.
7-foot Great Dane is world’s tallest dog (with pic goodness).
