Distributed Hypermedia

In case you are wondering what is distributed hypermedia…so am I. Just kidding. Its one of the many terms that I have to know for my Comptuer Science I test on Friday. Joy. But here’s a little defintion for you:
Hypermedia is a term used as a logical extension of the term hypertext, in which audio, video, plain text, and non-linear hyperlinks intertwine to create a generally non-linear medium of information. This contrasts with multimedia, which, although often capable of random access in terms of the physical medium, is essentially linear in nature. The World Wide Web is a classic example of hypermedia, whereas a movie on a DVD is an example of standard multimedia.
So in honor of that, I’m going to distribute some hypermedia today.
First up I’ve got two photo updates: Pumpkin Carving ’05 and the Clemson Game ’05.
Secondly, a new Futile Files of a Furious Female from the one, the only, Heather (aka Matt’s Woman).
Lastly, well, that’s it. I’m spent for the day. Enjoy!
