Keep On Truckin

Boys and girls, its Thursday and that can only mean one thing. I’m not sure what that one thing is yet, but it sure stands for something.
Well, I had a tragedy narrowly adverted on Monday. On Sunday Artie noticed one of my tires was a little low. So I put some air in it and kept an eye on it. As I was leaving work Monday afternoon, I checked the pressure and I had lost about 10 PSI. Sounds like a good time to get my tire checked out.
And sure ’nuff, I had a nail in it. Of course, I had to go all out and get a nail in the sidewall of the tire. What does that mean? No repair for you! Thankfully, and I can’t stress that enough, I had purchased a road hazard warranty with my tires. Instead of having to fork over $250+ for a new tire, I just paid $22 to renew the warranty on my new tire.
Sweetness! Not to mention the fact that they actually had the tire in stock. This kind of luck doesn’t happen to me very often. Had I actually blown out the tire, which would have been the fourth flat in just over a year. That sounds more like my luck. But I guess that’s to be expected when I’ve been living in Tallahassee for three years now and I drive 60 or so miles a day.
Oh well, such is life.
Also, I forgot to give a shout out yesterday:

I'm currently living in Tallahassee, FL where I am a graduate of the Computer Science program at FSU and a C# web developer for a local software company.

Might not be much, but I do what I can.
