R.I.P. iPodicus

Please bow your heads for a moment of silence…

Alas iPodicus…I knew thee well. You gave me eleven months of sheer musical happiness displayed in 65,536 colors. And it was good. Sadly, you ran into a few “problems” over the weekend and had to be replaced. As much as I hated to see you go…its one of those things that had to be done.

Thankfully I had a few weeks left on the warranty. As a result, I upgraded to the 60GB iPod Video model. For some reason I decided to get the black model. I don’t know why, but I seem to be on a black kick lately. My new cell phone is black, my new watch face is black, my new desk chair at work is black, and now my iPod is black. Who knows…maybe I’m just trying to get in touch with my ghetto roots.

But the good news is that I now have enough room for 15,000 songs. Which is a good thing because I has almost filled up my iPodicus’ 30 GBs. Not to mention the fact I can now download TV shows to watch and podcast Strongbad Emails. It rock and rolls peoples.

Needless to say, I love it.
