Nerd Goodness

Happy Tuesday peoples. First let me start out by saying that I’m sorry for the no-post yesterday. Originally I was planning to taking today off from work because I have a Discrete II Midterm this afternoon. As my luck would have it, I couldn’t take a whole day off today, so I went home before lunch yesterday to finish up my studying. I’m also going to leave around lunch today so I can take my test. Then I’ll be spending the rest of my day finished up a 25 or so page paper for my Design and Analysis class…which is due tonight. Thankfully I’ve already got most of it done but I had to set it aside so I could get my Discrete on. Finally, I’ll be rounding up the week with another test in my Design class.

I swear this is turning out to be the longest week ever. You gotta love midterms.

However, I will say this: “I did it.” (see screenshot below)

That’s right. I gots me a Mactel up and running on a 3.2 GHz Duel Core Pentium with 4.0 GB of memory and a 250 GB SATA hard drive. [insert a Dick Cheney joke here]. Although the system isn’t a 100% yet, it runs very smoothly. I’m having to use generic video drives and the audio card doesn’t work at all, but nothing that’s a show stopper. I’ll keep you informed of the progress.
