Holy Schnikes!!

I straight pulled a Tommy Boy this morning at work. Yesterday we had a server that was experiencing slow response time and in some cases completely locked up. Turns out there was an automated action that was stuck in a loop and kept calling itself over and over again. I had user call me and ask me what caused the server to run so slow. Instead of explaining how the server was caught in an infinite recursive loop which used up all the resources, I told her: “The server kept trying to do the same task over and over again until it said, ‘AHHHHHH I can’t take it anymore!!!!!’ and quit.” Surprisingly the user laughed and understood what happened. Thankfully I didn’t set anything on fire or make references to the meat wagon.
In other news, I survived my Discrete Math II midterm on Tuesday. Overall it went ok. There were 10 problems consisting of short answer, true false, and proofs. Most of the short answer and true false had at least four subparts, so that added a lot to the test. In the end it took me about an hour fifteen to tame that beast. I also turned in a 28 page design document in my other class and I take the midterm for it tomorrow. Joy.
I think there was something else I was going to mention…but I can’t remember it now. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I turn 25 this month…the big quarter century. Woo…hoo…
And remember, brothers don’t shake hands. Brothers gotta hug.

I'm currently living in Tallahassee, FL where I am a graduate of the Computer Science program at FSU and a C# web developer for a local software company.
wow…that video is amazing…but I would be so t.o.’d seeing as how I do 80 mph on the perimeter and the speed limit is the rediculous 55 mph. I’d be afraid I’d die b/c atlanta/gwinett/cobb county drivers are insane.
dawg, you are so right. why, we cleaned up about three of them over the course of this past weekend. amazing video, indeed.
