Hitchin Accomplished

Well boys and girls, I survived the weekend. For those of you who didn’t know, I had to travel down to Winter Haven, FL this weekend for Artie and Jillian’s wedding. Kari and I went down on Thursday with Robert and caught a ride back up with Capt Matt and Heather. Mucho thanks for the lift peoples!

Aside from one thing (which I will detail in a post tomorrow), the wedding was perfect. I had the opportunity to visit the renowned Tanner’s in downtown Winter Haven for some Irish goodness. I also had a great time fulfilling the best man role. Thankfully I remembered to grab the ring on Saturday and I was successfully able to pass it off during the service. I’ll tell you what, I was glad to get rid of that ring. After the wedding, the reception was great and Jillian’s parents know how to throw a rockin’ party.

So the next time you see Artie, give him a high five. You know…just because…

Also, I do apologize for the lack of posting goodness last Thursday and Friday. I was going to attempt to have a special St. Patty’s Day post on Friday but I didn’t have time to get one up. I will say that I had a green beer Friday in it’s honor…and a few more in Artie’s.
