Excuses, Excuses

I swear I’ve got good reasons for lack of post goodness this week. Monday I had the post all ready to go. All I had to do was add the little image to the top of the post and I was set. Some how in the process of adding the image and hitting the save button the post got deleted. Basically all I had was the image and links at the bottom. Needless to day I was pissed. Sadly I didn’t have the time to rewrite the entire post. So no post for you. Yesterday I took a sick day from work because I wasn’t feeling well. The sick day applied to the site as well. For today I’m going to attempt to recreate the post from Monday because it was somewhat important. I’ve got my Ouija board out to try and contact the binary afterlife. Here goes:
Title: Birthday Bonanza
Date: 03/27/06
Post: Holy Moly what a weekend! It was a non-stop birthday party weekend. Kari’s birthday was on Saturday and mine was on Sunday. We decided the best thing to do was to roll all of our parties into one instead of having stuff for each of us. So what went down? We kicked off Friday night at Cabo’s with 18 of our friends and Mexican/Margarita goodness. Yeah, 18 peoples showed up. Not only that but Jillian “Betty Crocker” made a fantabulous cake. On Saturday Kari and I made some awesome pancakes for breakfast. Afterwards we went biking over near Tom Brown park and had a lovely picnic. Sunday all preschool helpers made some rockin’ cupcakes, my kids gave me a card, and they all sang Happy Birthday. That night we had dinner at her parent’s house with grillin’ goodness. I’ll admit it was a little weird to date someone with a birthday so close to mine but I think we pulled it off very well.
Thanks so much for everyone that called/emailed me to wish me Happy Birthday. Also, thanks to all the peeps that slammed my facebook wall. Any more messages and it would have come down like the Berlin Wall. A special thanks goes out to Kari for everything she did. All ya’ll made it the best 25th birthday a guy could have.
And yes, I’m a quarter of a century old now. If you decide to leave any comments, type in caps ’cause I don’t see well anymore.
P.B.Loco – flavored gourmet peanut butter.
If your wife refuses to serve you meat for dinner, dousing yourself with gas and setting yourself on fire in the front yard probably won’t help.
Blog binders – turn your blog into a book.
Driver parks SUV on a Brooklyn street that is over a leaky water main, which is over electric cables, which is over a gas main, which is over a subway line. What could possibly go wrong?
