A Bit Of A Late Post

Hap Hap Happy Monday. Well, today is the day, my last Discrete Test ever (not to mention my last final this semester). Needless to say I’m ready to get this sucka over and done with!! I can almost taste sweet, sweet freedom!! Tomorrow I’ll be heading out for Texas for an Engelhard Nerd Convention IT Meeting and traveling back on Friday. I shouldn’t have a problem doing updates from out there.

Also, I’ve been seeing a lot of weird/cool/interesting things lately. For starters, I was getting ready to leave the post office Friday when this 1982 disco reject van pulled up beside me and flung the door open…almost hitting my car. At first I thought it was a little Asian woman until I realized it was puny Mexican dude with long greasy hair and a wife beater. My first impulse was to roll down the window and say, “Hey, watch it buddy.” But then I realized that A.) no hablo espanol and B.) there was probably at least eight illegals in the back of the van. Anyways, the whole kicker is that when he got of the van, instead of putting out his cigarette, he just stuck in the side rearview mirror for later retrieval.

I passed a Delorean in my neighborhood. It was awesome, but not 88 miles per hour awesome.

I acquired the first five (and subsequently only) cartoon episodes of Karate Kommandos starring none other than Chuck Norris. The cartoon show was from the early 80′s, probably around the same time as the Mexi-van. At best it was a horrible G.I. Joe rip off, but was entraining to watch. Finally, Kari actually wanted to watch Shaun of the Dead…and we did. Best.Girlfriend.Ever.
