Eye Of The Tiger

It is done…for the most part. Last night I put the finishing touches on my paper. I’m sure I’ll revise it a little bit, but that’s it. Yeah, mom, can you believe I finished a paper that’s due Friday last night? I realized last night that the last time I wrote a research style paper for college was for English 102 at Bainbridge College in Spring of 2000. Needless to say its been awhile. I had to dust of my trusty copy of the MLA Handbook. And of course I had to have sources from everywhere imaginable: books, reference books, online newspapers, websites (both professional and personal), online books, online journals at the library, and so on. Honestly, I never really enjoyed the whole parenthetical documentation/works cited thing. I realize you need to give credit where credit is due, but not their life story. I’m surprised I didn’t have to do something like this:
Jonhson, Alan. Life of the Cherokee. ed. Your Mom. New York: Awesome Publishing. 12 May 2002. Type A Personality. Born, 30 July 1952. Likes long walks on the beach at sunset. Seeking SWF. 54-63.
Anyways, one down and two more to go.
And, once again, we just narrowly dodged what could have been a hurricane. But we needed the rain so I guess that’s a good thing.
Well, that’s it for me. I could drone on about BASF so more…but I won’t. Take it easy and have a Happy Hump Day!!

I'm currently living in Tallahassee, FL where I am a graduate of the Computer Science program at FSU and a C# web developer for a local software company.
I will heart Lauren forever if she posts something on the frontpage today.
And was that English class with Dr. Fox?
I believe that was English 101. I had 102 with Dr. Gingras.
Hooray for finishing early! And boo for MLA–even though I’m an English major, I too believe that it sucks and should be erradicated from the face of the earth. haha.
Lauren Yay!!!!
Speaking of Lauren… A Hennessy fan?
Yup!
I went to the Hennessey distillary while I was in France and it was awesome! Definitely one of my favorite stops. And I liked the cognac quite a bit–very flavorful and lovely!
[wipes a tear away]
That was beautiful!

I can’t believe those guys ran in front of a C-130…that’s really scary…those things are massive. (and yes I actually know how big they are b/c my dad builds them)
