Simply Amazing

Ahoy!

Howdy Ho Junior Rangers! I don’t have much today in the way of updates except for the following:

1. I have exacted revenge on the MySpace bandits.
2. I survived this weekend having the Volpe clan camped out at my place like a bunch of refugees. It’s not as bad as it sounds and good times were had by all.
3. All quiet on the BASF front.

And now for something completely different:

Its very rare that I find a news story worthy of a full posting on the main page. Needless to say, this one qualifies:

Town N Country, Florida – A woman is in stable condition after being ejected through the sunroof of her SUV during an accident.

Thirty-seven-year-old Ruth Matthews told paramedics that another vehicle cut her off in traffic, and she took evasive action to avoid a crash. Her Isuzu Amigo rolled over and she was thrown through the sunroof and onto the roadway. Investigators say she was not wearing her seatbelt.

Paramedics initially tried to fly Matthews to Tampa General Hospital, but her weight, estimated at 600 pounds, made it impossible. Emergency crews were able to transport her to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

Authorities are continuing their investigation.

Wow. I just want to see an after picture of the sunroof. Seriously, physics is an amazing thing. I mean, the force of a rollover was enough to put a huge round peg through a square hole but the force of an helicopter couldn’t pick her up.

Well, that’s it for me. Have a great day everyone!
