I Live!!

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Don’t you just love how I posted for an entire week and follow that up with a singleton post…on Friday?

Well, its been a strange week of ups and downs. Monday I really didn’t have much to say after a more or less uneventful weekend. FSU did beat the snot out of rice, so I guess that’s an event…maybe. Tuesday didn’t fare any better in the way of events.

Plus I’ve been trying to put some effort into resurrecting the forum. Honestly, trying to pump out content for the main site and forum is like trying to date twin sisters.

I just couldn’t do it.

So I had to devote some time to one over the other.

Then came Wednesday.

I got to work on Wednesday to have an email entitled “Crunch Time” in my inbox. Just for the record, those are not happy words together. They form a union of holy work load proportions. Basically the project I’m on is about to shift gears for the rewrite. The client has been testing some recent changes all week and they’ve been submitting problems. Bottom line: we have to have all problems resolved by Sunday midnight.

Here’s the kicker: I’m out of town this weekend AND I asked for Friday off over a week ago. So I had to work late on Wednesday and Thursday to make sure all the issues assigned to me taken care of. Needless to say the past few days have been a bit hectic.

And who knows what Monday will bring.

As for me, I’m out this weekend. I’m taking a trip down to south Florida with Kari and the future in-laws. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of material for a post on Monday.
