The Good and Bad of it All

In summary, here’s what went down this weekend:
Friday was a bit of a weird day. I think it was probably due to the long week and crappy weather. While Kari and I were out getting food, I lost power at my place. So we ended up watching a few episodes of Lost at her place. Now we’re almost done with the first season and ready to start watching season two.
Saturday we drove down to St. George to try and find a place to get hitched. Thankfully we did find a nice piece of beach to get married on. There’s a little, almost hidden, beach access path right there and we’ve rented a pavilion just a few yards from the spot. We thought we had found an awesome place to have a reception but, as it turns out, had just been rented. Mucho, mucho sadness there. But at least we found and agreed on a place. We also took a quick trip of over to Apalachicola but weren’t able to do much because the whole place didn’t have any power. When we got back to Tallahassee, we met up with Capt Matt for dinner and a movie. Oh…we also watched Georgia and FSU lose. That’s all I’m going to say about that.
Sunday Crossbridge had a fall type festival at Tom Brown Park. We had a really decent turnout and all the kids seemed to like my ghetto rigged version of Tic Tac Toss. Word. I guess the day’s activities wore me out because I took a two hour nap at Kari’s parents house after dinner and went home to sleep for eight more hours.
It was also nice to have gained an extra hour of sleep as well.
Oh, and happy Monday!
Extreme Wheelchair Stunts (this link’s for you Capt).
Two. There are two rabid bats terrorizing the neighborhood. Ah ah ah ah.
Check out the guts of an Etch-A-Sketch.
When robbing a fireworks store with a shotgun, remember not to fire off a warning shot inside the store.
