Hater
Ok this is something that has been getting my goat for the past 5/6 months. Something that irritates me enough to skip my normal introduction, and force me to delve directly into the topic at hand. A problem that only expands as more ignorant people have chances to express their ill-formed and retarded opinions.
For the record I’m what some consider a hater. Now I realize that I can destroy a creation with criticism, but I have my reasons. I always have a reason for praise and for criticism. Sometimes the movie/song/art just sucks; sometimes the artist is bad and the creation is great; sometimes it is a bad idea or could be done better by other people, but no matter what I always have a reason.
I also recognize that the art/music/story I like isn’t for everyone. It also may suck horrible and I also accept that. I know I like crappy pop culture like: 70′s Kung-fu Movies, Arnold’s Action Movies, the 3-Six-Mafia, Pro Wrestling etc…
I realize they have no redeeming value; I don’t try to defend their merits in their respective fields. I know they are bad, and I know they are enjoyable (like listening/watching old Britney Spears). I know Bruce Campbell’s movies are not A-list, but I’m unashamedly obsessed with them.
I say all of that to bring us to the bane of my “hater†existence. People’s retarded, uninformed review of a product/song/book/whatever. I’m a consumer with opinions. When it comes to what makes a good story, movie, or music I have a very educated and informed opinions. I don’t pretend my tastes aren’t selective, but a good album is a good album. A crappy album well it’s bad.
If you are not sure what is good then don’t write a review about it. Keep your uniformed idiotic opinions to yourself. Accompanying this is the awful, retarded trend of writing fake reviews of your album/product/movie. If you need an example look at any rap/hip-hop album on iTunes. These are just as irritating and unhelpful. I hate those people. Marketing my shiny-white-hinny.
I’m not saying my opinion is the be all end all, but it’s worth a lot more than most people. I’m smarter than the average bear if you will, and I “hate†with extreme prejudice. I hate on good and bad. Dangit though stop pretending and thinking you know what is good. Leave it to people who do this in everyday life.
Speaking of amazingly great things…
- Johnny Cash – American V: A Hundred Highways
- The Departed
- The Nintendo Wii
Well kids, have a great week, and I’ll get back to you

Hi Cap’t!
2 Things:
1. That shiny white hinny comment just made my day.
2. The Departed was a waste of my life. And my 7 bucks.
3. (this was unplanned) Knowing that the Indigo Girls rock like no other does not make one a lesbian.
Your fan,
Lauren
ok…so where did you get this so-called education?…the mean streets of Baibridge and Climax?
and i second Lauren’s comment that liking the Indigo girls does not make on a lesbian…if they find actual proof of this however maybe Lauren and I should hook up.
