Happy Birthday

Yes, Happy 3rd Birthday JoshuaStarling.com!!
I’m still trying to figure out what’s the translations from blog years to human years. It’s kind of a tricky area. Depending on how you look at it, they translate equally because a typical blog documents one’s life. On the other hand, I’ve redesigned the site layout four times, upgraded the backend three times, added a forum, and added tons of new features and trimmed away others.
Perhaps blogs factor into Moore’s Law, which basically states that computing power and associated technology doubles each year…for the most part. If that’s the case, then maybe the formula for calculating is as follows: (Number of Blogging Months/12) * 2 = Blog’s Age in Human Years. Hmmm…that seems about right.
Or perhaps I’ve been stuck in my room doing way too much homework. That definitely sounds right.
Anyways, I’m quite pleased and amazed that I’ve kept this up for the last three years. I’ll admit that it doesn’t ever quite seem like a job or a pain in my butt to update. It’s something that I’ve enjoyed and always seems fun. The only thing that’s a burr in my saddle is trying to find links everyday, especially the games. Honestly, I’m just glad this hasn’t evolved into an emo-type blog. It’s more of a humorous retelling of my wonderful luck and wonderous life.
So what’s in store for the future? Well, I’ve got another backend update in the works. Although at the rate I’m going, it’ll probably be after this semester. I’m also trying to figure out what’s going to happen after I get married. What changes, if anything. I’ve got a couple of ideas rolling around.
And yes, they all involve profit.
Five things to do with a PC when the internet is down.
It’s not wise to upset a Wookie.
The different types of high fives.
Firefighters rousted from sleep when fire engine catches fire inside fire station. Quick, where’s the irony extinguisher?
