Friiiiiiiiday

Ahoy!

Happy Friday everyone! Well, for me at least, Spring Break is coming to a close. I can honestly say that I’ve been taking it a little easier this week and it’s been nice. I started ramping up (new buzz word at work) for my next Data Structures project last night. I’ll hopefully start working on it big time this weekend. Joy. Then on Monday I get to register for Summer and Fall classes. I’ll probably take Stats this summer and Analysis of Data Structures (essentially part two of the class I’m taking now) in the Fall. More joy.

In other hard working news, I’m still trying to get used to working in a managed project environment. How so? Well yesterday I got a piece of paper that laid out all my tasks from now until April 18th. There were about 11 tasks that had starting and ending dates with the estimated number of hours it would take to complete each task. Crazy but at least I know what to expect every day.

On the wedding front, we’re going out tonight to try and find me a wedding band. I think platinum and diamonds will do nicely… something pimptastic. Then on Saturday we’re going meet a baker to taste cakes and see what they can do in terms of designs and awesomeness. Ummm…cake tasting.

Finally, don’t forget that we spring ahead an hour on Sunday. Also know this starts three weeks earlier this year and your computer might not know that. Microsoft has put together a little guide to help you set things straight.

dude the cnet investigation was awesome, i think after tax season im going to run a similiar test. With a little different twist. I’m not as concerned about the label as I am concerned about artist “tampering” and cd rip/mp3 import “tampering” results. I have enough music built up both from itunes and cds/outside mp3′s to see if the results hold up
