LOST + CSI = iPod

Word up boys and girls. It’s shaping up to be one of those weeks again. Yesterday I thought I had lost my iPod. You know, the one with the totally awesome cover my Mom got me for Christmas. So yeah, as I was leaving work yesterday, I pulled my iPod from my trust murse and started to queue up some angry white people music for the ride home. Then I got the bright idea that I would give Kari a call on the walk to my walk. Well somewhere between calling her and getting in my car, I lost my iPod.
I mean, I totally forgot that I even got it out until I was getting off I-10 and realized that I didn’t have anyone screaming at me. Once I got home, I searched my car and bag and I didn’t find it. I came to the conclusion that I must set my iPod on top of my car and driven off with it still here. My thoughts drifted to a broken iPod in the middle of Thomasville Road or someone ecstatic over finding a mildly scratched iPod packed full of music.
Then I decided to do a little CSI work. My car is currently coated with a nice layer of pollen. After examining the top, I didn’t see where I A) would have set the iPod or B) where it would have slid off. Thus adding to my confusion. At this point I had almost resigned myself to waiting until today to see if any fellow employees had found a busted iPod in the parking lot. Even worse, I was not looking forward to having to purchase a new iPod either.
On a suggestion from Kari, I searched my bag again. And there it was. Somehow I slipped it in a side pocket. I don’t remember doing it at all. Heck, I didn’t even realize I had pockets on the side like that. Anyways, what I relief!! And from now on, I’m not going to take out my iPod until I get inside my car.
And speaking of the iPod, I think we’re going to use my iPod to DJ our reception. So if you have any ideas for songs to play, please leave your idea in the comments section or in this tread on the forum.
