Twenty-Six

Today I took my first step on the right side of the quarter century mark. Yes, I’m 26 years old today. Apparently it’s also my golden (a.k.a. champagne) birthday since I’m 26 on the 26th. Does that incur any special privileges? I don’t have a clue. But gifts that include gold and/or champagne are a great place to start for ideas. Another question, then does that mean that Goldschlager meets both criteria with a little help from one’s imagination? Hmmmmm…

But I digress with thoughts of champagne wishes and caviar dreams.

So do I have any big plans for this birthday? Not really. I’ve got a homework assignment due tonight that I need to finish on pipelines and memory caches. Talk about a buzz kill. Plus we’re trying to keep things a little low key since we’ve got a wedding coming up and Valentine’s Day was kinda big since we got the Wii.

Also, Kari’s birthday was yesterday (Happy 24th Birthday baby!!) and she had a bridal shower on Saturday. So she had a very busy weekend, filled with parties and gifts! We also had dinner with my parents on Saturday and dinner with her parents last night.

Well, that’s about it for me today. I’ve got a ton of work to do so I had better get started. Have a great day!
