Happy Trees

Ahoy!

Seriously, I’ve tried for the past two days to get this post up and I’ve been blocked at every attempt. So lets try this one more time:

It begins…home renovations. The joy of trying to acquire a new skill set, through on the job experience, to make one’s living establishment more pleasing to the eye. Also know as “do it yourself after watching a few shows on the Home and Garden network”.

It’s one of those projects.

It all started on Saturday when Kari and I went to Home Depot to look a paint samples. We’ve got to paint all but two rooms in the house, so we wanted to pick out some nice colors that compliment each other. However the paint survey trip turned into a paint purchasing trip since we walked away with a 5 gallon bucket of primer, some rollers, and that blue paint tape.

So guess what we did Saturday afternoon?

Experienced the joy of painting.

And guess what I’ll be doing once this semester is over with?

More painting!

And speaking of this semester, the end is near. I’ve got an assignment due in each class this week and a test on Friday. Then I’ve got another test and assignment due next week and I think one more test and an extra credit assignment due by the 23rd. So if you don’t hear from me over the next couple of days, I promise I’m still alive.

At least I hope so.

sadly, I think I thought he was better after I knew he was Joshua Bell, but the first clip doesn’t give you much…He is amazing! I love his work and the Red Violin Soundtrack is phenomanol.

I heard about the Joshua Bell story on…whatelse…NPR.

They said he earned $57. $20 of that came from a lady who recognized him as she attended his concert a few night earlier. The article may have said that already, but I didn’t read it.
