I live.

No, seriously, I haven’t died in a darkened cubical somewhere surrounded by empty surge cans and potato chip bags. But there were a few times when I thought I was going to.

So where have I been? Chained to my desk at work. I remember telling my lovely bride on the way home from our honeymoon, “I feel like I’m going to have to work a little this weekend.” Little did I know that weekend would turn into just over two months of working every weekend. Yes, this weekend was the first full weekend I didn’t have to work since the weekend I got married.

In the month of June, I worked just over 243 hours. As of this past Friday, I’ve got 231 for the month of July. That’s including working an 8 AM to 2 PM day on Thursday.

Why? We’ve been trying to get a web application ready for the client and Friday was the big day. That means no more overtime and more time to update ye ol’ site.
