Today marks my 500th post to the Daily Postings category. That would be 500 dang ol’ daily (sometimes weekly and lately monthly) posts since October 1, 2004 (the date my new back end went live). Of course, that post count doesn’t include the manual, HTML updates I did from February 2004 to September 2004. I should also mention my lovely wife told me the following last night, “Well, you would have reached the 500 mark sooner if you had been posting like you should have over the last two months.”

Honestly, the milestone snuck up on me…so I didn’t have much time to throw together a big party. So that means no midgets, explosions, car stunts, and shooting guns into the air. However, I did throw a little picture up and brief bio of myself at the top right corner of the main page. I also added the ability to embed audio files in the posts. So anything else? Ummm…yes, I purged a ton of old stuff from the forum and I’ve been trying to post in there on a regular basis. So if you are a wayward forum user, it’s time to come back home.

My main focus for the site is to restore it to it’s former glory. That means new content, regular postings to the site and forum, and maybe moving the site over to a new host. Who knows…but I do have some ideas.

Thanks to everyone who stuck around during the drought. I’m looking forward to sharing another 500 posts with you.
