The Big One Year

So I must be getting old because my memory failed me. I couldn’t remember if today, or tomorrow was my big one year here at Infinity Software. And you know what?
It was yesterday.
That’s how my memory rolls at times.
But wow, it is still kinda hard to believe that a year has gone by already. In retrospect, I think I made a good career move. I’ve learned more new programming methods and techniques (along with honing my existing skills) here than I ever did at Engelhard…I mean BASF.
Overall I’m very happy and experiencing far less stress…even after working 500 hours in two months. I also don’t miss being on call 24/7 and tied to a Blackberry.
In other words, I like my job and I’m looking forward to another year of fun challenges.
