Moved!

Congratulations!

If you are reading this, that means you are on my new server!! So far things seem to be working OK. I did encounter a few things that didn’t work correctly…but they have been tweaked and updated. I also did some database optimization when I moved all the database code over. Hopefully things will be a little more snappy from now on.

In the event that you did get an error or something funky, please let me know. You can either me a comment on this post or drop it in the Requests section of the forum. Please be sure to tell me what page you were on and the error you received (if any). I’m going to be doing some more stuff off and on over the weekend.

And to think that only took three hours!

Actually, over the course of almost four years, I had accumulated about 1.1 GB of data on the website…not including the database. Between the data on blog and the data from the forum, it came out to being about 11.5 MB of nothing but straight text.

Ok, I’m going to have a beer!
