Wolfpack Packed Up

Well boys and girls, FSU won their game against N.C. State on Saturday. The final score was 27 – 10. Overall it was a very good game. We came out and scored right away and N.C. State answered with a touchdown of their own. They ended up making a field goal in the 1st to lead by 3 points.
That would be all the points they would score.
We should have had six more points, but our kicker missed two field goals, one in the 1st and the other in the 2nd quarter. With our forth win in a row, we are now ranked at 21. Hopefully Xavier Lee will start again this Thursday night at Wake Forest. Congrats to Chuck “the Chest” Amato for helping beat his former team.
The strangest part of the game was the 50 minute delay in game due to lightning in the area. The irony thing was that the whole time the players were off the field and fans were encouraged to seek shelter inside the stadium, there was a really beautiful rainbow over the field (sorry for the crappy cell phone picture, it doesn’t do it justice). Then once the players came out, it started raining. Thankfully we had our awesome camo ponchos we purchased (but never used) for last week’s Bama game. We never heard any thunder inside the Doak and Bobby said that he was his first weather delay in his coaching career.
Typical.
Well, that’s all for today. Stay tuned for more tomorrow.
