Ummm…did FSU beat #2, undefeated, Heisman hopeful Boston College…in the cold, in the rain, and on the road?

Heck yes they did.

I’m still in a state of shock. Well, that’s partly because I didn’t get to watch much, if any, of the game. I had one of my programming weekends for school. However, I did get to hear my lovely wife yelling and clapping in front of the TV. I, for one, didn’t think we would even make it a game. I was expecting a blowout. My thoughts (and fears) were supported by the fact when Lee Corso cast his lot for FSU to pull off the upset AND for Drew Weatherford to make the game changing performance. I should also mention that our backup, and occasional starting, QB Xavier Lee is currently suspended for two games due to academic probation.

So Weatherford was it.

And we pulled off an upset…by 10 points.

I think that was the 2nd time in school history FSU has beaten a #2 team on the road.
