What’s In Your Wallet?

Well boys and girls, after working late every night this week (to avoid working this weekend), I can honestly say I’m tried of sitting in a chair. In fact, I’ve been sitting so much, that I’m really beginning to notice my wallet and how one cheek is slightly higher than the other. I was telling Kari about last night it and she said to just take out my wallet when I get to work. But A) I don’t feel comfortable parting with my wallet when I’m not at home and B) I’d probably forget it when I left work.

Because of all that, I’ve decided to try something new…something different. Behold! The Jimi! The Jimi wallet is a slim enclosure that slides in your front pocket. It’s really small…just slightly larger than my Razr, and holds up to five credit card-sized cards and a few bills.

When I got to looking through my wallet, I realized I was mostly carrying discount cards to places like Barnes and Noble, Borders, Best Buy, and GameStop, and a few other misc cards. Then I realized that most of those establishments can lookup your information without needing the card. So I really don’t need them anyways.

Plus, since the Jimi is rigid, I don’t have to worry about my cards bending and breaking. I’ve already had to replace my driver’s license and debit card because they were tearing. Believe it or not, my butt does have some curvature.

So what’s in my Jimi? Only the bare essentials:

• On the clip side:
  • Driver’s license
  • Car insurance
  • Two folded checks (I don’t really carry cash that often)
• On the card side:
  • Debit/ATM card
  • Credit card
  • FSU card
  • Insurance card

Honestly, what else am I doing to need on a day-to-day basis or in an emergency? I did get the Stealth Jimi because A) black is the new pink and B) it isn’t transparent. I didn’t want to be flashing my information everywhere I went. But some people do like the idea that if you get a transparent one (like the white one), you can flash your ID without opening it. And an added benefit is since all that stays in my front pocket, it makes it a little more difficult to pick pocket.

All that for the low low price of $15.00 and a grand total of $18.50 to get it shipped to your front door in 3-4 days. No, I’m not on their staff and no I don’t get an kickbacks for referrals. I just think it’s that good of a product to recommend. Plus, it’s waterproof, made in the USA, and made from recycled products.

Your butt and the environment will thank you.

Well, that’s about it for me. I’ve got a long weekend of programming and writing a report on the results of said programming. That’s due on Wednesday along with a major deadline at work. So that’s why I’ve been so busy lately. Also, Monday is a holiday for me, so depending on how my programming is going, there may or may not be a post. Just FYI. Have a great weekend everyone!
