T-Minus One Week

(And then just a little bit) Until Christmas!
Man, it just doesn’t seem like Christmas is just around the corner. I think every year I swear to have all the shopping done by the start of the month. And what happens? We still have a few people left on our list. At least our house is shaping up to be Christmas like. We put up our tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving (Dec 1) but I still need to hang our stockings. We also finally got a star for the tree yesterday. And I think aside from a few gifts I need to wrap for Kari, most (keyword) of that is done. Plus it hasn’t felt like December lately with the 85 degree weather we’ve been having…except for most of this week. Not to mention the fact I have to work next Monday during Christmas Eve.
As for traveling this year, I don’t think we’ll be doing much that. But I’m sure we’ll end up having multiple Christmas events between our families and friends.
Anyways, consider this post a heads up that you’ve got a week to finish up your shopping and preparations (Dad, I’m looking at you).
How to find secret discounts on Amazon.
Even the Chinese won’t buy toys made in China.
How the color blind see the world.
Forget the turducken: here’s a Christmas turkey stuffed with 12 different birds, that costs more than $1,000 and serves 125 people.
