New Feature

Today I’m introducing a new feature of sorts. I call it, “Found!” and it features odd or interesting photos I took with my iPhone during my travels. Today’s inaugural posts features something I haven’t seen in a long…long time: a walkman. And not just any walkman either. I’m talking about a cassette-based walkman:

I’m sorry for the somewhat crappy MySpace shot angle. I was trying to be super-sluthy while leaving the deli. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the guy actually take it off his belt and play with the fast forward/rewind buttons. I seriously couldn’t remember when the last time I actually held a tape cassette and walkman. Probably somewhere around 5th or 6th grade because I know I had a discman and CDs in 8th grade.

I also thought about how you can get a super cheap MP3 player off w00t (~$15-30) and here is a college-aged student using 20 year old technology.
